2025 Residential Window Efficiency Study

Program ID: RWE-2025-IRA | Status: ACTIVE

Homeowners Qualify for Up to $600 in Energy Efficiency Incentives for Window Upgrades

As part of an authorized Residential Window Efficiency Evaluation, select households are being considered for participation in the 2025 Window Upgrade Study — a limited rollout supporting regional and federal energy efficiency goals.

The study is currently active in your area, with eligibility based on home characteristics and window installation year. Homeowners are needed to test the performance of new high-efficiency window systems in real-world conditions.

PROGRAM ALERT: Limited capacity available. Applications processed on first-come basis.

Verification takes less than 60 seconds. No payment info required.

Eligible Participants May Receive:

Up to $600 in energy-backed performance incentives for testing new window technology
Full installation of advanced, dual-pane window systems for testing purposes
Direct assignment to licensed contractors already approved for this initiative
Lower monthly heating and cooling bills from improved thermal retention
No credit checks, no financing required

Installations are coordinated through certified professionals operating under state-aligned energy reimbursement protocols — not through homeowner payments. Homeowners participate by allowing testing of window performance in their homes.

Who Is Eligible?

To be considered for participation, homeowners must:

Own and live in a detached home, duplex, or townhome
Have windows installed in 2018 or earlier, or show signs of heat loss or outdated sealant
Be willing to complete a short post-installation energy performance survey and allow testing of window efficiency

What Is This Program For?

This initiative contributes to real-world energy conservation goals by gathering live performance data from upgraded homes. Homeowners are needed to test these new window systems in actual living conditions.

Participating properties receive newly developed, high-efficiency windows as part of an ongoing performance study. Contractors are compensated through energy initiative funds, and participating homeowners help test the technology while seeing significant efficiency improvements — immediately.

Limited Regional Capacity

Each ZIP code has a limited number of contractor slots. Once that capacity is filled, applications are either waitlisted or closed without notice.
